Deposits

A deposit is a well known and used word in our culture today. Very few of us get through a month without making deposits in the bank. We have auto-deposit accounts to save time and ease our lifestyle.

The Apostle Paul gave some great instruction to his mentor Timothy. In his challenge to this young man, he talks about the deposit that God has made in him.  There are two phenomenal verses in 2 Timothy 1:13-14. “Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.”

If you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, God by the Holy Spirit has made a deposit into you! Wow! Do you catch the enormity of this? Almighty God chose you, and Almighty God invested Himself and the gospel message in you! That makes you very special! Therefore, don’t waste your life! Guard the deposit! Live worthy of the gospel! Allow the Holy Spirit to be vibrant in you! Don’t settle for the temporal of this world, you have a far greater treasure of investment!

Busyness of Life

Recently I have gone through one of the most hectic and trying times of my life. It is impossible for me to completely describe it all and share the minute details that were so overwhelming in this month of testing and busyness. I have reflected on a few things that will continue to impact me and hopefully help your walk.

1. Sometimes we may seem all alone, but He is always there!
2. When we are spent and exhausted, His everlasting arms uphold us!
3. Sometimes your schedule does not allow others to jump in and help. God is never too busy for you, and you are never separated from His love and tender care!
4. God’s Grace is All-Sufficient All the Time!

In conclusion – Always Trust Him! Always Lean on Him!
